The Springers are gathering a force of 800 ships under Cekztel commanded by Topthor to destroy the Earth.
The Topides reinforce Betelgeuse with 400 ships under Al-Khor and move off to the 3rd planet to mislead the Springers. The Titan and the two heavy cruisers make multiple appearances to reinforce the deception that Betelgeuse is SOL. Perry realizes that this is not enough and stages the destruction of the Titan and himself.
